RODNEY KEILBACK Mr. Rodney Keilback, aged 50 years, of Beausejour, MB. dearly beloved husband of Sharron Keilback, passed away tragically in an accident on Tuesday September 2, 2003. Leaving to cherish his memory is his loving wife Sharron, of 25 years; his sons, Edward and Brett; his daughter Kristin; his brother Glen (Darlene) his sister Merna (Kevin) Omichinski; also many nieces, nephews and friends. Rodney was predeceased by his parents, Sarah and Edward and his brother Calvin. Rod was born and raised in the Beausejour area. He married Sharron in 1978. Together they farmed in the Beausejour area and raised three children, Edward (20 years), Kristin (17 years) and Brett (12 years). Edward now plans to continue the family farm. Rod was very active in the community and served on the CPTC Board and the Arena Board. Rod was also active in sports. He enjoyed playing baseball and hockey. Rod was an avid supporter of his childrens sports. He had a love of muscle cars and was in the process of restoring his 1969 Super Bee. Rod loved his family and was always very proud of their accomplishments. He was always willing to drop everything and help out a friend in need. Rod always offered friendly advice to whomever he felt needed it. Friends may pay their respects at the Sobering Funeral Chapel on Sunday, September 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Ave. E., Beausejour, MB with Pastor Hugh Laidlaw officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gord Rosentreter, Mervin Sachvie, Glenn Steinke, Alvin Hastman, Lawrence Reckseidler and Allan Briese. In lieu of flowers, if friends and family so desire, donations in Rodneys memory may be made to an Educational Trust Fund for Kristin and Brett at South Interlake Credit Union, Box 340, Beausejour, MB ROE OCO.
